Goes Good With Milk

Jody posted this at 10:42 am under music & audio, phillip's room, wwr

My brother Phillip has a limited edition 5-CD box set called Goes Good With Milk (limited to one copy). The 5th CD, which is sort of a "best of" collection, is called Infinity Plus One.

After one of the songs was played on Whole Wheat Radio, I considered posting more of Phillip’s recordings to Steel White Table on a regular basis; what the hell, get some exposure, finally show the world the depth of our music genius. Unfortunately, a few songs from the CD are not written by Phillip, and without the publishers’ permission, I am hesitant about posting them.

But frig it; we’re not making a dime off these recordings and never will. The worst that might happen is we’ll get an email from some company like EMI telling us to cease and desist, at which time we would simply remove the recordings; but we don’t foresee anything like that occuring. This little corner of the World Wide Web is mostly harmless. We think we’re safe.

We’ll try to post a new song every weekend. All songs are posted as MP3 files at 192kbps.

The first tune, Skinny Legs, will be posted tonight.

“We’ll try to post a new song every weekend.” Should probably be changed “a new song every 5 or 6 days.” I’m too impatient to wait every week.
