Beer Prevents Cancer in Rats

This was first reported two years ago, but I didn’t know it: Beer helps prevent cancer:

According to the data, tests showed that giving beer to a rat injected with carcinogens lowers the incidence of cancer by up to 50%.

With cancer-preventive foods such as spinach, carrots, parsley, broccoli and peanuts, you have to eat a lot of them to get any efficacy. With beer, you don’t have to drink so much (for cancer-prevention, that is).

I’m thirsty.
