What an Astronaut Sees

Jody posted this at 7:50 am under science

Earth from Space is an easy to use photo database of cities, landscapes, and other features as seen from space:

Earth from Space provides several ways to search the selected images. Each image is available in three resolutions and includes cataloging data and a caption. However, this site contains only a small selection of the best of our Earth photography.

The nearest city to my location is Halifax.

Their complete photo database features a clickable Earth map, although I couldn’t find detailed maps easily.

    Niagra Falls looks pretty neat.
