		<description>I wouldn't say it's &lt;em&gt;translating&lt;/em&gt;, exactly.  It shows what the American Sign Language word is for a lot of English words.  &lt;a href="http://www.theinterpretersfriend.com/"&gt;The Interpreter's Friend&lt;/a&gt; has more than 10,000 words, but they're more specialized terms (rather than the ASL Browser's generic words), and the glossing system can be hard for non-signers to understand.  (I'm an interpreter and even I have a hard time figuring it out sometimes.)</description>
