I Ain’t Anti-Christian. Honest.

Jody posted this at 9:39 am under religion

I believe that Christ was a man like ourselves; to look upon him as God would seem to me the greatest of sacrileges.

- Leo Tolstoy

Rejection of Pascal’s Wager: A Skeptic’s Guide to Christianity:

presents the “fruits” of my intellectual journey from being a believing Christian into a convinced atheist. The journey was tumultous, sometimes exasperating, but always interesting. The journey has taken me twelve years, but it has been worth it. The freedom to think for yourself, to live life to the fullest, to be a happy and moral human being have been the rewards of this journey.

An interesting read.

Great link. The author of that site has definitely gone to great lengths to post his material. There was far too much there for me to read through, but it was fun to skim over it and see similarities between the way he & I both think.

The same can be said about a person’s journey to Christianity, or any other belief.

    I’m not pro-Christian, nor anti-Christian, nor anti-religion. I’m anti-stupid.

I haven’t read the article and doubt that I need to.
