A Question of Etiquette: Farting

I’m curious about a milestone we reach in relationships. People have very specific thoughts and rules about when it’s okay to have sex for the first time, but when is it cool to fart?

I think Seinfeld would suggest that it’s appropriate to fart in front of your partner once three completed dates have elapsed since you first had sex.
Why does sex have to come into play? Would it then be ok to fart while having sex, or is that just never appropriate? Of course, you could alwayz just claim that you were too relaxed.
I think it’s ok once you both get into a routine and logically it doesn’t make sense to break up over something that stupid. After a couple of weeks.
