Metrosexual
(met.roh.SEK.shoo.ul) n. An urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. —metrosexuality n.
The UrbanDictionary defines it as:
the kind of guy who paints his nails, wears flip-flops, owns a lot of shoes, takes an hour to do their hair etc. but is not really gay.
There are a lot of opinions on the definition of metrosexual. I haven’t heard the term until today.
I’m glad to say I’ve never been one, even when I was single. It’s a lifestyle I can’t relate to.

I just heard the term for the first time while watching the Bachelor last year. I suppose I used to be borderline metrosexual a couple years ago. I don’t think that term applies to me anymore though. I never painted my fingernails………………..eeerrr………well, there was this one time…
