BluesLand.Net - a comprehensive network of Blues related resources. Their Blues Audio Archive is excellent, featuring interviews and NPR articles (they’re in Real format). They also have a comprehensive section about women in the blues called It’s A Girl Thang!

    I hate the blues. I never feel anything for jazz and blues, it just makes me angry for some reason. So uh… there!

    I’m not surprised from someone who listens to lesbian russian bands who “sing” repetitive jingles, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

    It’s all true! I’m so ashamed!

    Actually, I haven’t listened to them in months, all I listen to are drum and bass stations listed from http://www.shoutcast.com lately. Though it’s still repetitive and mindless. Maybe that’s why I like it rather than random and supposedly “thought provoking”. It’s the antithesis of the blues/jazz.
