Oxymoronica:

Any compilation of phrases or quotations that initially appear illogical or nonsensical, but upon reflection, make a good deal of sense and are often profoundly true.

Some samples:

- Andrew Jackson, on the presidency

A good politician is quite as unthinkable as an honest burglar.

- H. L. Mencken

- George Orwell, in Animal Farm
