My Daughter’s Request
To wake up my three year old daughter I gently shake the bed or bounce on it a little until she stirs. This morning when I did it, the first thing she said was: “Are you tired, Dad? I am.”
“No, I’m not tired. It’s time to get up”, I said.
“I’m tired”, she said. “Can you watch over me?”
Damn. What’s a Dad to do? I watched over her, of course, as she went back to sleep.
Your father/daughter stories never end with spankings. Your child is going to make your life a living hell when she’s 14, may as well live it up now!
