		<description>Niall just wants a daughter so he can hang out with the girls when they have sleepovers. Or a boy, so he can hang out with the boys when they have sleepovers.

I like writing comments, it makes me feel like I'm contributing something positive back into the community.</description>

I have a few friends who comment; it's nice to see people enjoy some of the stuff I post, especially if it's a personal post.

I'm not trying to get people to comment, but it's often interesting to see what strangers have to write.  Sometimes.</description>

Did you notice how little effect that comic seems to have? People tend to rather passively read blogs and not interact with the content after all, it seems - even when stung they don't write!

It may also be a defensive reaction against compulsion to comment though...</description>
