Typophile - The Smaller Picture:

The collective conscience of Typophile is trying to create a collaborative bitmap typeface. This bit of ingenious code… allows an anonymous body of users to collectively construct a typeface. Watch the typeface develop in real time or watch it animate backward to see the history of each glyph unfold.
