If It’s A Boy
We decided on a girl’s name long ago, but a boy’s was difficult; we couldn’t agree on anything (my Dad suggested John Wayne, John being his name, Wayne being my father-in-law’s name; my wife didn’t like it). My wife suggested Iain long ago, but I knew too many Ians so I wasn’t comfortable with it; however, she wants to use the traditional spelling, and I couldn’t come up with anything better (although I like its variant, Eoin, but that’d be too confusing, I think. How do you pronouce it?). So, if it’s a boy: Iain Robert Cairns.
The baby’s due in about a month.

How about that…. a computer geeks son with the initials IRC.
Cool!
