Early Morning Mud

Motorcyle DiariesJenny and I recorded this 10-minute podcast before we went to bed last night, with the music of Kara Barnard in the background. Although recorded at night, this is a calm, relaxed, early morning show.

We introduce by Kara Barnard; talk about girl names and how cool podcasting is; we say hello to a list of potential listeners from Whole Wheat Radio; and in the last five minutes we review The Motorcycle Diaries and discuss related topics which include Che Guevara, the film Y tu Mama Tambien, and (briefly) a Harry Potter movie. Then we say goodbye.

NOTE: All podcasts are eventualy removed.

P.S., I also recorded a mudcast last night of just me talking very quietly for 22 minutes, with only Esther and “Steel White Table” playing lightly in the background. Jenny and I listened to the whole thing while lying in bed — and in that setting, it was perfect. It was relaxing to listen to. Then we fell asleep. (I’ll probably use these exact words to describe it when I post it.)

I’ll be posting it later today — strictly as a late, late show.

I was just told that a 10-minute podcast might be considered too long. Alright, then, here’s the last five minutes of it when we review The Motorcycle Diaries, which is probably the best part of it.
