A Podcast About Nothing

Phillip posted this at 10:35 am under music & audio, phillip's room, science, wwr

apple pieMy audio magazines are really beginning to go downhill. This 7-minute mudcast was intended as an audio letter to Jim at Whole Wheat Radio, basically an audio version of my response to his podcast where he talks about how to record a good podcast. But it was 9:00am when I recorded this thing, which is early for me. I hadn’t had my morning coffee, and I sound exactly like someone who hasn’t had his morning coffee yet. Eventually I end up talking about Pi in the key of C, a fasinating topic which I may expand upon in a future podcast.

Stop it! Any more of this and my head will explode. I about fell on the street laughing so hard on realizing I’d listened for 7 min. to absolutely nothing and you weren’t going to have any punch line or sage advice or anything really.

Loved the beer reviews by the way.

Will — thanks for the feedback. It’s good to know my podcasts are making a difference in people’s lives, even if it’s just laughing in the street at the absurdity of it. Especially if it’s that!

I’m currently preparing my next beer review, which I recorded live last night while listening to Whole Wheat Radio (using it for background music). I got so distracted by the music playing on WWR, I rambled on for a whole hour — about everything (or nothing). I may end up posting it segments. The first segments (if I do it in segments) will be posted some time today.
