Guitar Gabriel Had the Blues
In this 13-minute podcast [removed], which contains profanity, I tell the story of how Guitar Gabriel was so destitute when he died that his family couldn’t afford to buy him a gravestone — talk about the blues. Which leads me to ramble on about how much I’m missing my girlfriend, Jenny, who’s been working in another province for the past month, and how incredible I think she is. Along the way, I mention Whole Wheat Radio and William Wharton’s A Midnight Clear. I conclude by explaining my big philosophy of art. Music provided by Guitar Gabriel and Guy Clark. (Part 5 of 6.)
P.S., Guitar Gabriel eventually did get a gravestone.
Update (Jan. 7/06): This recording has been removed.
