Software I Use A Lot
I’ve used the following software for years, using them most everyday. These are some of the first programs I install when I setup a new windows machine.
Free Software:
- Firefox (browser)
- Filezilla (ftp client)
- Irfanview (graphic viewer)
- Keynote (enhanced notepad)
- Process Explorer (system utility)
- xplorer lite (Windows Explorer replacement)
- Starter (startup manager)
- Putty (telnet client)
- Winamp (media player)
- CDex (CD ripper)
- Spybot (spyware cleaner)
- X-Setup (system utility)
- WordPress (blog publishing)
Commericial Software:
- Ultraedit (text/hex editor)
- Microsoft Word (only at work)
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Money
- Winzip (ZIP utility)
