That was fun. I have had a beard for about 8 months now. Unlike those guys who let theirs grow for a year, I’m keeping mine trimmed, but then I’m not raising money for cancer either. (I have a beard, anyone want to donate to cancer research?) It is still on a “trial” basis. Like you said in the video, there are things that are good about it (warmth, less maintenance, etc), but there are aspects that are not quite as fun. We’ll see how long it lasts. Maybe I should start a lottery for when I will get rid of my beard. The closest to the date gets half of the pool, the other half goes to charity… hmmmmmmm…

This 3-minute version of the video was edited down from a 7-minute video which pauses back to normal speed at a few points — once when I have the handlebar mustache and pretend to be a biker, then again when I have a sleezy porno actor mustache, etc. (the original video also doesn’t contain the 1-minute intro, which isn’t necessary, I realize now). Jenny and I laughed our asses off watching it; it’s better than this short low-res version. The before and after shots are also more striking (more entertaining) in the original. I might post it later this week.

I got all excited when I thought you were going to leave a barbell mustache and said “awwww” when she got rid of it. If I could grow a beard I’d totally have a barbell mustache.
