Okay, Panic
Jenny and I will be seeing The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy tomorrow at 2:20pm (Atlantic Standard Time). I’ll tell you what I think about it when we get back… maybe in podcast form.

I enjoyed about the first 30 minutes, laughing out loud at the absurdity of all it… until I got bored with it. If you’ve seen the trailers, you’ve seen all the best parts and don’t need to see the movie. When it wasn’t funny, it was boring, unfortunately too boring for me to recommend it. The special effects were okay.

I agree with Phillip about the movie. Parts of the movie were really funny, but it began to drag. The dolphins were good. And so was the sperm whale. The land-based animals were a little disappointing.
P.S., A podcast review was recorded on a handheld tape recorder which was brought into the theatre. But the tape recorder is a piece of junk and doesn’t record at a constant speed. The playback was too warbly to salvage. (Would have been good though. Lots of street noises in the background.)

I haven’t read them, but early reviews of the movie don’t look good.
I just watched what was quite possibly the most Jewish movie I’ve ever seen. “The Hebrew Hammer” - he’s a Yiddish Shaft, basically. Quite amusing.
