What Do You Understand?

The Understand Stuff Around You Test:

Ever wonder about the world around you,
Why things work the way they do?
Riddle me curious, someone’s gotta have a clue,
Knowledge to impart, how about you?

I guessed some of them. Some of the possible answers are amusing:

Why does the amount of water in a goldfish bowl (no pump, etc.) slowly decrease?
- The goldfish drinks the water.

I’m not as smart as I thought I was.
