Shakin’ the Tree at WWR

Phillip posted this at 12:37 pm under music & audio, phillip's room, wwr

Phillip and JodyI’m the featured artist of the day on Whole Wheat Radio today (December 2nd, 2005). I’m an artist!

That’s me on the left and Jody on the right.

Do a search for “Phillip Cairns” in the Whole Wheat Radio library, and you’ll get 20 hits, though not what you’d call big hits.

Had I known I’d be the featured artist of the day some day, I would have recorded some happier, more upbeat songs instead of doing so many Townes Van Zandt covers and the like.

My covers of Lyle Lovett’s Skinny Legs and Cat Stevens’s If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out are the most fun. And Something Else is kind of goofy.

A big “thank you” to my fan(s)!

    When’s Mud Radio coming back?

As soon as I get out of my Aliant contract and can afford high speed again.

So what’s the news on that contract? When you suing them?

I’m calling yet another VP today, and if they tell me the same crap everything else has, I’m calling VOCM.

Looks, though, like there’s no way out of the contract — and they’re not going to budge. They’ve offered me a different cell phone deal, but I’m still stuck in the contact, and they still can’t give me high speed.
