Update! I made roasted cauliflower soup yesterday (tasty!) and based it off this recipe. Before the cauliflower comes out of the oven, brown some onion in butter in a medium-sized pot (should hold the cauliflower and the liquid). Once the cauliflower has roasted, throw it into a pot with about 6-8 cups of water with a little bit of stock and let it boil; once it's boiled, put the lid on, let simmer for about 15 minutes, and then puree (either with a wand or in a blender). You could grate some cheese and sprinkle it on the top when you serve it, or shake some parmisgan over it.

You heard that on Definitely Not the Opera, and it was an interview with the Surreal Gourmet, Bob Blumer (sic?). It was a fun interview, and I quite enjoy his show.

Bacon loaf isn't a Newfoundland dish either, but we're in Newfoundland when we make it, so that's good enough. We're cooking spagetti squash on the next 'Sunday Morning Scoff.' After that, we'll do this cauliflower popcorn. Anything with salt has gotta be good.
