O.J. Simpson Sells Cowboy Boots

OJ DINGOI found this advertisement in a comic book published in 1980.

The ads are the best thing about old comics.

Check out the “Spy” Scope in the upper-left corner of this Fun Factory ad. It’s great for spying, sports and “girl watching!”

I love they way they use quotation marks: “Live” Sea Creatures — The most amazing pets in the world! Head like a horse, tail like a monkey!

    Later in the LOCKER ROOM.. Two young boys are hanging out trying to get noticed while wearing cowboy boots:

    “Wow! O.J. Simpson in this lockerroom that we’re hanging out in while wearing cowboy boots! I have a novel idea, lets get his autograph!”

    “Aw a superstar like him wouldn’t notice us wearing cowboy boots while hanging out in his locker room watching him get changed.”
