I make and sell WVO blends to alot of people and they are very happy with it and have had no problems. I have 5 school buses that use my blends and they are running Great.

If blending is done right, it will work good.

GOOD LUCK ALL!

Saw a great TV report today on a young man driving across the US in his Veg-Oil powered car promoting vegoil.
He get's it for free at fast food restaurants, filters it through what looks like a coffee filter, and into the tank it goes. The report said he used a 50% blend with regular diesel.

On the Discovery program, the students went to restaurants and picked up the cooking grease that the restaurants were going to throw away. That is pretty cheap! You are only paying to refine at that point.

I watch a program (Discovery Channel I think) on a couple of students in Ontario that refined large amounts of cooking oil into diesel fuel. They used the refined fuel on the campus vehicles. The place smelled like french fries.

I know a few people who do this. More accurately, I'm good friends with a certain radio journalist who did a story about bio-diesel.

In the end, it cost as much as regular diesel, if not more, but it's better for the environment.

I'm sure someone who knows better will correct me if I'm wrong.

But how well does diesel work as cooking oil? I think that's the real question.
