Wheat Seeds - Day 11
Had I known the Whole Wheat Radio wheat seeds would grow so fast, I would have carefully set up my camera to record their growth. Instead, I just took a snapshot every day from what was a probably a slightly different angle. Subsequently, the time-lapse effect is somewhat ineffective. I’ll do a better job the next time I get my hands on some wheat seeds. I have a question, though: What do I do with the wheat now? If I transplant it outside, will it grow into actual wheat that I can eat? Or maybe they’re marijuana seeds. I wouldn’t know.
At any rate, here’s a 53-second video (1.4mb) of the wheat seeds growing. If it transforms into wheat someday, I’ll take a pictures of that too.
P.S., Music by the Women of Mambazo, a short, beautiful chant called Vimba.
UPDATE: The photos can be viewed individually here.

unfortunately, it’s not marijuana. :(
How’s the wheat doing? Make flour out of it yet?
These posts have been getting frequent hits from WWR (the bottom of the page) lately.
The wheat is still alive. It has survived the move to outdoor weather, though it’s looking kind of hard at the moment. I’m thinking of moving it into the greenhouse where it might have a better chance. I’ll post pictures soon.
The wheat seeds have produced wheat! Real wheat!
I’ll take pictures later.
