My Book List (Phillip)

Phillip posted this at 11:49 pm under phillip's room, reading & writing

J-Walk has been posting book lists. I hardly have the time or energy to read books anymore, and most of my favourite books, read so long ago, probably wouldn’t become favourites if I were to read them for the first time today. Nonetheless, here are 10 books I thoroughly enjoyed reading at one time or another, listed in the order I read them, beginning with the very first book I ever read.

1. Siddhartha - Hermann Hesse
2. The Chrysalids - John Wyndham
3. The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger
4. Birdy - William Wharton
5. Shatterday - Harlan Ellison
6. The Last Temptation - Nikos Kazantzakis
7. Leaves of Grass - Walt Whitman
8. Where I’m Calling From - Raymond Carver
9. A Study of History - Arnold Toynbee
10. The Book of Illusions - Paul Auster
