Superman Is Returning

Jody posted this at 7:26 am under general

Superman Returns movie logoA new trailer for Superman Returns was released yesterday. This trailer features Lex Luthor (played by Kevin Spacey) saying some good lines, along with impressive special effects. It’s directed by Bryan Singer, who also did the first 2 X-Men movies and The Usual Suspects (which I thought was over-rated and a waste of time).

The new Superman actor appears to be emulating Christopher Reeve’s style, but maybe Reeve’s was the epitome of Clark Kent.

According to the IMDB, Superman is returning from the lost remains of the planet Krypton.

That’s the only movie I can think of that I’m looking forward to this summer. The third X-Men movie is being released soon, but I read it’s being directed by some guy who hasn’t directed anything memorable.

Update (May 21, 2006): A better trailer. Wow.

Update: Phillip and I have seen the film.

Yeah, this is definitely on my must see list.

I watched Bewitched last night. I would like to say that it was an hour of my life that I would like back, but I was laying down trying to get some sleep, so I really didn’t lose anything.

I will be going to see “The Da Vinici Code.” I know you didn’t like the book but I liked it. I just hope it doesn’t turn out like “National Treasure” that was garbage.

I updated the post with a link to a new trailer. This one gives a lot away, but it’s stunning. This is the first movie I’ve looked forward to since Lord Of The Rings.
