Slow Week Post #2: New Age MP3

Phillip posted this at 9:34 am under humor, music & audio, phillip's room

While recording the score for my recent short film, I had access to a keyboard with tons of sounds on it. I hit the record button and explored many of those sounds one day, and for about 4 minutes at one point I got stuck on a new age sound. Some people love this crap. The rest of us recognize it for what it is: crap. Yet… I couldn’t stop playing. Here are those four minutes. I call it Spock’s Brain Caught in a Tholian Web in the City on the Edge of Forever (Makes Sense). Enjoy. It could be a collector’s item some day.

I recommend listening to it — okay, I don’t recommend listening to it, but if you do listen to it, try watching the earth from space on NASA TV at the same time. Let me how know it goes.

    Hi There,

I’d like to listen Mud Radio but Windows Media Player won’t allow me! Can you help me out here? Thanks.

Peg, my first suggestion is to install Winamp: http://www.winamp.com. That would probably solve your problems. It’s a quick, free, and easy install.

To open under Windows Media Player, under File, select OPEN URL.

(If you can’t see File, then you have to maximize the player’s window by clicking the symbol next to the X in the top right corner.)

Enter this URL in the OPEN URL blank
