The melancholy violin/piano ruined it. It would have been more entertaining just being what it was, instead of having to over-dramatisize it with that repetitive “look how lifeful life can be” music.
I actually did watch the whole thing. More like an interesting sociological experiment.
I like the violin/piano stuff, not because it’s good, but because it changes how the clips are viewed, even if it isn’t subtle. Remove the music and the video might still be effective, but effective on a different level. That’s more interesting to me than the actual content. Though form is content, isn’t it? The medium is the message, etc.
