How Many IDs And Passwords Do You Have?

Jody posted this at 8:51 am under humor, internet & computers, movies, tv & video

User Name and Password, a video by Darren Barefoot, illustrating one aspect of a geek’s life:

Darren’s site is down as I post this. Maybe his site has been digged.

My question: where or how do you store all the login information? Post-it notes is a silly but popular method.

I know that it is about one step up from Post-it notes but I use a spiral notebook.

I use the same password for everything.

Same as Bryan - I have a spiral bound notebook in which I keep track of them.

I use a little encrypted program that I keep in my shortcut bar on the computer. I forget the name of it, but I found it from here: http://steelwhitetable.org/blo.....eeware-to/ So I only have to remember two usernames/passwords: to get into windows and the password into my encrypted program. In that little program I have roughly 15 usernames/passwords.

When I don’t care about whatever it is that I’m signing up for, I always use pender/rednep, as long as it doesn’t store any useful information, like my bust size.

I braught up the same question on my blog… Wouldn’t it be great to have one password for all of the internet!

Here is my post i wrote back in July called pass-wiki. Darren made an awesome video!

I found out the name of the program I use, it’s PassPack. Loads real quick and gives me a sense of security that leads me to falsly believe that they’re all safe.
