Nuff Respect Brethren & Sistren of Rastafari.

Sometimes giants must pass before the world awakes to their genius. Ras Lucky made an immortal dent in the armor of Babylon in his days here. His poetry will ring even stronger in the days to come. Although strongly governed by the pimps of industry, he did his work without diluting his devotion to Truth and Iniversal Love.

Joe?
Joe is the "sleeper." It was his style never to opt to quick-buck deals. He felt that his work stood by itself, thus he was able to say things in his psalms that transcended all formats. Listen to his "Family" album, and the I will see. Check the last cut on the album he did with HIM pickney Marcia, "For All Mankind." Here is an example of the vision Joe exemplifies. Joe is the GODFATHER of reggae music. Some call him the "Father" of reggae which may be so...but Joe knew that "Godfather" connoted a higher status. Lucky knew this and saw him as a teacher, and ruler and respected him dearly. And Ras Higgs reciprocated with his respect for Lucky. This I&I know firsthand. The brotherhood they represented is the epitomy of Rastafari. Y'Cyan Kill Rasta! One Love Kali I
