A Cairns Plays Professional Hockey

eric cairns hockey jerseyWhile googling myself today (almost sounds naughty), I stumbled on this hockey jersey. It belongs to Eric Cairns of the Pittsburgh Penguins. He’s a Canadian, too! From Oakville, Ontario. We might be 20th cousins or so.

I played hockey for one season, when I has five years old or so.

Don’t get too excited Jody. He was a bit of a knuckle dragger. Not your intellectual equal.

Eric Cairns played minor league hockey for the former Binghamton Rangers of the American Hockey League. I used to go to the games. Nice guy, off the ice. On the ice, not so much.
