I’m probably the only one here who remembers the TV show, Big John, Little John. Weird to see it on YouTube.
Now if I could only remember the name of the show about a dune buggy that can fly. Anyone remember that show? That’s another one I’ve had memories of for 30 years that no one else can remember. Does anyone remember a cartoon called the Barbapapas? (My spelling might not be correct.) TV memories are strange.

Big John, Little John – no.
Barbapapas – yes. The family of blob-shaped creatures who could change their shape at will – loved them! “Clickity click – barbaratrick!”
Barbapapas is a show Jenny used to watch. The show seems to have zero web presence. Can’t find it anywhere.
UPDATE: Cancel that. Just found it. We’ve been spelling it wrong.
Oh, wow, it’s been a dog’s age. Always cracked me up. But, now that I think about it, Big John must have been getting paid an amazing salary for a teacher if he could afford to buy clothing all the time for his “little” self, since he always tore them up whenever he changed back to Big John.
Btw, I think the dune buggy show is “Wonderbug” -one of the many Kroft shows of the time including such memorable gems as: Electra Woman & Dyna Girl, Dr. Shrinker, Lost Saucer, Far Out Space Nuts, Lidsville and the classic Land of the Lost.
There are more of course, but those I would prefer not remembering.
Wonderbug — that’s it. But Dr. Shrinker? Wow. Lost Caucer? What the…? I’ll have to check those out. Classics indeed.
“Dr. Shrinker?”… You don’t remember Dr. Shrinker? Mad scientist invents shrinking ray (duh) plans shrinking the entire populace so he can take over the world. Tests ray on group of people whose plane crashed on his island. Later renamed “The Lost Island.” Don’t remember the stars though.
As for Lost Saucer, Jim Nabors and Ruth Buzzi as androids who take a couple of earth kids on a star faring trip through the galaxy. Of course this was your typical Kroft shenanigans.

I never saw that first one before , The Krofft Supershow. It reminds me of a 70′s version of The Doodlebops.
I remember watching that Land of the Lost show a lot, though.
