I'll poke around like you said. Maybe it'll work. I haven't been in the mood for figuring things out. Not that I have much patience for it anyway.

UPDATE: Nope, it doesn't work. Maybe the receiver is broken. I'm not in the mood to waste any more time on it. Eventually I'll just find a hard-wired solution.

For me, it works better under Vista than it did under XP. No drivers required.  Just plug it in a USB port, and it appears in the Playback tab of the Control Panel Sound dialog box (which you can also access from the system tray). 

It takes four clicks to switch the sound output from my speakers to the Logitech. It took a lot more than that with XP.</description>
