How often does your cat puke?

My cat, Nigel, has been on a barfcapade. He used to puke up a hairball about once a month and it was no big deal, but every day for the past couple weeks he’s been spewing up everything all over the place. Today he puked on the couch, god love ‘em.

I’m not sure if our second cat, Winston, has ever puked, god love ‘em.

We discover dried up cat puke in surprising places about once a week: in a drawer, under the bed, on top of the fridge…

Every couple of months, Bing, my little ninja, will puke three or four times in a week, and then he’s good for another couple of months.

I don’t own a cat, God love ‘em.

6 times in the last 8 months but she is only 9 months old

We don’t have pets, but all of our 4 kids either own one now or did until quite recently.

Bella in Gainesville, FL has never puked and she’ 2 1/2- 3 yrs. She’s totally indoors.

Domino and Diego in Dallas have only puked once each and they are in the 2 years range. They get to loll in the yard and each puked after eating something they should have KNOWN not to eat.

The 2 French cats in DC (can’t spell their names) Grollo and Buecheon or something like that…they are 9-ish, indoors and puke every day pretty much. They also hate people, sleep all day and romp all night and mostly make me want to drop them off at the pound when I visit. To my mind they have no redeeming value.

Stanley who lived with our other kid was indoor/outdoor cat and if he puked he kept it pretty much to himself.

I feel the same way about lapdogs (a.k.a. yapdogs). Having dogs while I was growing up, I never developed any kind of affection for cats. I’m still surprised I have two of them now. Nigel acts like a dog, though. He’s always in my face, licking me, rubbing up against me, purring constantly. The other cat is a just a cat.

Anyway, Nigel didn’t puke yesterday. I hope this is the end of it.

Here’s Bella wearing a child’s neck pillow (for in the car) and a Christmas ornament draped around her neck.
