Gmail’s Infinity Plus One Limit

Jody posted this at 8:46 am under internet & computers

Gmail has increased email capacity:

To celebrate our one-year birthday, we’re giving everyone one more gigabyte. But why stop the party there? Our plan is to continue growing your storage beyond 2GBs by giving you more space as we are able.

I still use my Yahoo! email because of its Calender feature. I don’t use POP email anymore.

I always forget about the calendar feature in Yahoo, though I did remember to use it a few days ago to send myself a reminder of when some library books are due back. I like certain things about Gmail, but it still doesn’t have a convenient DELETE or NEXT button that automatically moves me to my next message like Yahoo — so I ain’t switching. My only complaint about Yahoo is that is clears my Trash too often, when sometimes I need to retrieve some old trash message. I use my Gmail account for subscriptions. Both Yahoo and Gmail do an excellent job at removing SPAM. And I hate Hotmail and everyone who uses it.
