A Pheasant
Last month I took a train from Moncton to Halifax. It was a slow train. At one point it even stopped. And when it did, I looked out the window and saw this pheasant walking through some dead grass beside the railroad track (52-second video, 0.9 mb). It’s not the greatest footage you’ll ever see of a pheasant, but it was my first time actually seeing one of these birds, and it’s interesting to see such a large bird walking out in the open like that. I kept looking out the window and saw two more as the train moved on.

Say this FAST: I’m not a pheasant plucker, I’m a pheasant plucker’s son, I’m sitting plucking pheasant until the pheasant plucking’s done!
It’s a tangent I know, but I’m easily distracted these days.
