    Did you notice how little effect that comic seems to have? People tend to rather passively read blogs and not interact with the content after all, it seems – even when stung they don’t write!

    It may also be a defensive reaction against compulsion to comment though…

    They interact with that damn 100 “greatest” guitarists of all time post.

    I have a few friends who comment; it’s nice to see people enjoy some of the stuff I post, especially if it’s a personal post.

    I’m not trying to get people to comment, but it’s often interesting to see what strangers have to write. Sometimes.

  3. i’m always interested in the stories about your daughter, cause i’ll be having a kid of my own soon enough, and i like the GOOD stories about them! :)

  4. Niall just wants a daughter so he can hang out with the girls when they have sleepovers. Or a boy, so he can hang out with the boys when they have sleepovers.

    I like writing comments, it makes me feel like I’m contributing something positive back into the community.
