It’s been about 20 years since I last heard the Jolly Boys. They didn’t sound anything like this back then.
And I still haven’t been stung yet (this year).

I re-watched Magicians last night and laughed out loud all the way through it. It stars the two guys from the BBC comedy Peep Show who have such an unusual sense of humour that sometimes they don’t hit the bullseye (but at least they try) and the rest of the time I have to press the pause button because I’m laughing so hard I don’t want to miss anything. The movie about two rivalling magicians may not be filled with wall-to-wall jokes like “Peep Show,” but anyone who likes the TV show will probably like the movie too.

It’s not easy taking photos of honey bees.
Micro Macro focusing requires a fine touch that I don’t have. But I do my best. Here’s a photo I took of a honey bee having a drink of water:
I posted more over at Mud Songs.
Here’s a song called “Gold and Yellow” from Jolie Holland’s album,(release date: June 28, 2011):
I’ve heard online performances of a handful of the songs from the album. She’s like Bob Dylan and Tom Waits to me. Soaked in old traditions and making them new, making them her own. Always evolving as an artist. Always super cool.
