This was first reported two years ago, but I didn’t know it: Beer helps prevent cancer:
According to the data, tests showed that giving beer to a rat injected with carcinogens lowers the incidence of cancer by up to 50%.
With cancer-preventive foods such as spinach, carrots, parsley, broccoli and peanuts, you have to eat a lot of them to get any efficacy. With beer, you don’t have to drink so much (for cancer-prevention, that is).
A recipe for Jellied Moose Nose, where two of the steps are:
Pull out all the hairs – these will have been loosened by the boiling and should come out easily (like plucking a duck).
Wash thoroughly until no hairs remain.
I couldn’t find a photo. Bummer.

I’m not sure if MeatShake is a joke. Their menu features Steak Shake (only 58g of fat), Vanilla Ham Shake (Available During Holiday Season Only), Veggie Plate (With our coveted Meaty-Spray and Meaty-Dip!), among other non-meatless items.
