Homer On TV With Conan O’Brien

Homer dancingDan Castellaneta and Harry Shearer being interviewed on the Conan O’Brien show. Dan is the voice of Homer, Groundskeeper Willie, and others; and Harry is the voice of Mr. Burns, Flanders, Principal Skinner, and more. They do some improv with the different characters in this clip.

It’s odd seeing these humans impersonate famous cartoon characters.

  1. I nearly blew a kidney watching that. Holy shit, that was hilarious. I wonder how much of the show is improv. That was funnier than most episodes of “The Simpsons.”

  2. Castellaneta actually played an actor who played Homer (in a big Disneyesque outfit) on an episode “LA Law.”

Off topic: JODY!!! When are you gonna put cookies on this thing so I don’t have to type my name and info every time? Hacker or slacker?

  3. I saw that episode of LA Law. I guy in the Homer outfit was being sued, I think, because he got overheated and puked on some kid.

Jody, I “signed up” to SWT just to test out FeedBlitz. I had to scroll down about three screens worth of text (FeedBlitz advertising itself) to find out what the new post to SWT was. Unsigning now.

  4. When I tried to unsubscribe to FeedBlitz, it wouldn’t recognize my password. I tried every unsubscribe link in the email, gave them the right username and password. Still no go. So I marked ’em as spam.

  5. Forward the FeedBlitz email to me, the one that lets you know an update occurred here; I don’t have any ads in my email notices.
