Our Sunday morning trek was in a park we never visited before: Irishtown Park, located just outside Moncton‘s city limit to the North. There was a rumor once that Mick Jagger once hiked there with his family during the Rolling Stones concert in Moncton a few years ago.
The park is big. There are big maps that show your location, with some paths covered with gravel that are 10 feet wide and others being rough paths through woods full of tree roots, bogs, and mud.
The park is known for bird-watching: they have sections with bird feeders where small birds (finches maybe) may feed from your hand, similar to Phillip’s video in his post The Littlest Birds Will Eat Peanuts From Your Hand.
A nice park.

Great pictures. Loading time seemed long, but I tend to be the impatient sort.
You can watch the skydivers from the park too! And if you’re really lucky maybe one of them will land in the trees near you!
