  1. I wouldn’t say it’s translating, exactly. It shows what the American Sign Language word is for a lot of English words. The Interpreter’s Friend has more than 10,000 words, but they’re more specialized terms (rather than the ASL Browser’s generic words), and the glossing system can be hard for non-signers to understand. (I’m an interpreter and even I have a hard time figuring it out sometimes.)

  2. I should research a post’s subject before putting them online, including information like you wrote. I took an ASL class about 15 years ago, so I found that one site interesting; I didn’t consider if similar or better sites existed. Thanks.
