127 Hours is a true story about a rock climber whose arm gets stuck under a rock and he eventually has to cut it off with a dull knife. A well made tension-filled movie with about 5 minutes of the most realistic gore of a guy cutting his arm off that made the person I saw the movie with feel a bit nauseous. James Franco really shows his acting chops

Goes Good With “Milk”

I rented Milk last week because I heard it was good. It’s excellent. It tells the story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California. It was the ’70s, and if there’s any truth to what’s shown in the movie, it was not easy being gay in the ’70s. He ran for office three times and failed three times before he finally
