  2. I thought it might be a Cicada larvae too, but I thought Cicadas did their thing out in the forest close to trees. Don’t they emerge something like every 7 years? If I kept this thing in a jar full of dirt, would it emerge in 7 years?

    I’ll have to check it out on Wikipedia.
